An environmental and infrastructure company is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Coordinator in the Lakeland, FL area. The Business Development Coordinator will support the sales and marketing departments to increase sold opportunities while providing excellent customer service to prospective clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively work with management and marketing team to create a pipeline of prospects and meet regularly to discuss strategy and execution

  • Promote all services to new prospects through outbound calls, email campaigns, social media, networking efforts and more

  • Convert potential prospect into a qualified sales lead while documenting all activity and communication through CRM

  • Attend events, lunch ins, breakfast meetings, and conferences as assigned to generate leads for the sales team

  • Suggest improvements to sales process, sales tools, and anything else that will accelerate closing new business and ensuring referenceable clients

  • Optimize time and budget and assist with the full cycle sales process

  • Understand new construction such as utility companies, mining facilities, hygiene services, and septic removal

  • Train directly to learn about equipment, hazardous materials, mining, and phosphate to close potential clients

Who We’re Looking For

  • 2-year degree preferred, technical, sales or business degree

  • One to five years of sales experience preferred

  • Proven successful track record of selling solutions to C-Level decision makers

  • Ability to close new business remotely and travel as needed

  • High energy, sense of urgency and self-starter

  • Ability to independently multitask and prioritize tasks, pivoting if the needs change

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Must be computer literate

  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently

  • Ability to work outside of expected hours to attend breakfast/dinner conferences

What You Can Expect

  • $22 - $25/hr based on experience

  • Regular schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
