Job Description :

2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm , offering $.75 shift differential pay.


 


Pay Rate: $17.00-$20.00/hr based on experience. 




Main Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for total machine setup, programming, maintenance, and safety.

  • Perform a variety of related operations to close and interrelated tolerances on CNC bending machines. 

  • Reviews drawings and gauges to determine CNC bending sequence and dimensions of finished work part.

  • Attaches tooling to machines positioning and securing it properly and in a timely manner.

  • Adjust machine feed speeds and tooling according to specifications when automatic programming is faulty or machine malfunctions/conditions out of tolerance while operating in a safe manner.

  • Maintain and clean tooling/parts/equipment, and to order replacement or PM items as required.

  • Reading and working from blueprints, programming and editing

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment.

  • Train and enhances CNC programmers’ skill level in regard to programming and maintenance of machines.

  • Reduces cycle times of machines without jeopardizing part quality

  • Perform supporting activities for engineering and manufacturing including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures.

  • Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Production Manager.

  • Performs lock out / tag out

  • Manage department tools and equipment.

  • Operates Material handling equipment, such as lift trucks and boom lift

  • Must be flexible to work on production line as operator when needed

  • Must be flexible to support production schedule

  • Perform any required repairs when needed

  • Maintain and clean tooling/parts/equipment, and to order replacement or PM items as required.


Required Qualifications :

Experience:


Minimum of one (1) year CNC programming experience. Must be able to read engineering blue prints and have good understanding of geometry and trajectory. High familiarity with mechanical processes, tools and parts, hydraulic, and compressed air.

Flexibility to work various shifts, ability to work in a team or independently


Use of measuring instruments and checking fixtures


Follow written and verbal Instruction (English)


Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
